Cages
- Clean and disinfect cages and carriers with a Clorox solution diluted with water 9 to 1
- Check for broken wires and faulty latches on doors
Watering
- Clean and disinfect bottles with a Clorox solution diluted with water 9 to 1
- Check that valves in bottles or on cages are working and actually letting water out
Feed
- Ensure your feed is fresh (Not over 2 months old)
- Provide a airtight container for your feed
Animal Control
- Ensure your pets or stray dogs etc. are restrained..
The dog that never touches anything will be the one that kills your rabbits - Racoons and Skunks are attracted to caged animals
Environment
- Provide cooling for rabbits in hot months... Temperatures in excess of 85deg for a prolonged period will kill rabbits
- Provide protection from wind in cooler months
